LAHORE – Maryam Nawaz passport return, New developments reported in theLahore High Court over the petition.
The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday ordered the National AccountabilityBureau (NAB) to submit the reply on the return of the passport of MaryamNawaz.
The court also allowed Yousaf Abbas to submit the reply on the bail plea ofYousaf Abbas. A two-member bench headed by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi heardthe bail plea.
Earlie, the Lahore High Court (LHC) had referred Maryam Nawaz’s plea forremoval of her name from the exit control list (ECL) to the reviewcommittee of the federal government.
The court also ordered the review committee to make decision on theapplication in a week.

Justice Baqar Najafi remarked that the petitioner should first file areview petition with the federal government. When referred to the NawazSharif case, the court remarked that Nawaz Sharif had filed the reviewapplication and the cabinet had allowed him to go abroad.
Azam Nazir Tarar contended that they have come to court because it hadgranted Maryam Nawaz the bail. “Why can Maryam Nawaz not be allowed to goabroad if 16 people, including Ayyan Ali, have been permitted to goabroad?” he said.
