ISLAMABAD – India faces the worst humiliation at the international frontfrom close ally Japan.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe have cancelled the officially announcedsceheduled visits to India due to violent protests over a controversialcitizenship law.
Shinzo Abe was due to arrive in India on Sunday for summit talks with hisIndian counterpart Narendra Modi.
Earlier, Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen and Home MinisterAsaduzzaman Khan also called off their visits to India in the midst of theviolent protests.
Assam and other areas in India have been witnessing massive protests forthe last two days with thousands of people hitting the streets demandingscrapping of the controversial Act that denies citizenship rights toMuslims.
