ISLAMABAD – The fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will beheld in February 2020. The draft was held on December 6 in Lahore. PSL 2019trophy The fifth edition of the PSL is all set to get underway next yearafter the draft was held on Friday.
Defending champions Quetta Gladiators were very active in the draft as theypicked the English opener Jason Roy while Lahore Qalandars got their handson the destructive player Chris Lynn. Moeen Ali (Multan Sultans), DaleSteyn (Islamabad United), Alex Hales (Karachi Kings), Colin Ingram(Islamabad United) and Rilee Rossouw (Multan Sultans), also were signed upfrom the Platinum category in the draft of the fifth edition of PSL.
Pakistan opener Sharjeel Khan, who was banned for his spot-fixing scandalin 2017 PSL has made a return to the tournament with Karachi bagging him.Fawad Ahmed, the legspinner, was retained by Quetta. Samit Patel (Lahore),Rumman Raees (Islamabad), Sohail Tanvir (Multan), Liam Dawson (Peshawar)and Cameron Delport (Karachi), were the other picks from the Gold Category.
