ISLAMABAD – United States threaten to impose tariffs worth $2.4 billion onclose European ally.
The United States has threatened to impose tariffs of up to 100 percent on2.4 billion US Dollar on French goods in retaliation for a digital servicestax.
The imposition on tariffs could be targeted as soon as mid-of next monthafter a report from the US Trade Representative’s office found the taxpenalizes American tech companies like Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon.
