ISLAMABAD – Auto giant to introduce locally manufactured 4th generationhybrid vehicle in Pakistan.
The 4th generation of the Suzuki Swift was introduced in December 2016meaning that it will mark the 3rd year of production this month.
According to reports, the company is looking to unveil a facelift for theSwift in a bid to liven up the current generation which will see a few moreyears in production before being discontinued in favor of a new generation.It is believed that the company will showcase the new facelift early nextyear and will be rolled out for the Swift Sport followed by the othervariants.
Current the Swift Sport has a 1.4 liter K14C engine coupled with either a6-speed manual or automatic transmissions along with FWD and AWD variants.For the regular variants, depending on the market, it has multiple engineoptions ranging from naturally aspirated, turbocharged and hybrid such as1.0 liter Boosterjet turbo, 1.2 liter Dualjet and 1.3 liter Multijet.
