ISLAMABAD – International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) General Conferencehas endorsed Ambassador Rafael Grossi of Argentina as the new DirectorGeneral of the Agency.
The meeting was held in Vienna today.
In a press release issued by Office of the Spokesperson, Pakistanfelicitated Ambassador Rafael Grossi on his appointment as the new DirectorGeneral of the IAEA and looks forward to working with DG Grossi in furtheradvancing the important objective of the IAEA to accelerate and enlarge thecontribution of atomic energy to peace, health and prosperity throughoutthe world.
