ISLAMABAD – Meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on appointment of ChiefElection Commissioner (CEC) and Members of the Election Commission ofPakistan (ECP) will be held in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The Committee will consider nominations for appointment of Members of theECP from Sindh and Balochistan forwarded by the Treasury and the Opposition.
Meanwhile, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser held a meeting withChairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani in Islamabad today and discussed matterspertaining to the appointment of two members of the Election Commission ofPakistan.
They expressed satisfaction over the progress made on the matter.
