ISLAMABAD – Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has saidthat in three years Pakistan will become the first country to manufacturebattery buses, which will be driven by an electric motor and obtains energyfrom on-board batteries.

In a series of tweets, the federal minister said that Pakistan will developsolar panels and lithium batteries which will change the entire energysystem in the country.

The Minister said the current government will bring Pakistan back into themap of research.

He revealed that the budget for science and technology will increase athousand fold next year.
