ISLAMABAD – Maintaining its upward trajectory among Asianlink universities, the NationalUniversity link ofSciences and Technologylink (NUST) hasretained its No. 1 position among Pakistanilink Higher educationlink Institutions (HEIs) for the thirdyear on the trot, as per QS Asialink University Rankings2020 link.
NUST has ascended 4 positions fromlink last year’s ranking of87, performing the rare feat of being among the toplink 15% universities in Asialink.
In addition, the university has mounted 36 positions in Asianlink rankings in the lastfive years, from link 119in the 2016 link rankings,to the present position of 83 in the 2020link rankings, which is thefastest elevation by any Pakistanilink university duringthis period.
This year, NUST is the only Pakistanilink HEI amongst the toplink 100 Asianlink universities, said apress release issued here.
As many as 557 Asianlink universities� out of which 29 universities fromlink Pakistanlink � were considered for the 2020link Asianlink rankings byQuacquarelli Symonds, one of the most prestigious and credible universityranking agencies in the worldlink. QS rankings arecarried out based on academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty /student link ratio,citation per paper, paper per faculty, staff with PhD, andinternationalisation.
It also merits mention that NUST is among the toplink 400 globaluniversities, as per QS Worldlink University Rankings2020 link announced earlierthis year.
