ISLAMABAD – Twitter has started enabling its users to hide their tweetedreplies that could be seen as abusive or harassing.
In a statement announcing the feature, head of product management SuzanneXie said the move is part of an effort to help users feel safe andcomfortable while talking on Twitter.
Hidden replies can still be peeked at and engaged with by tapping a grayicon that will appear, but they will no longer be active parts of the mainexchange that sprang from a tweet, according to Twitter.
