ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) took over thetwitter to announce that it has not issued any notification regarding theban on Telenor. PTA clarified that it is not planning to ban any cellularcompany.
Earlier there was a notification circulating on WhatsApp advising people toswitch to another network or use all of their mobile balance and cleartheir easy paisa account before Dec 10, 2019, because PTA will ban allTelenor services from Dec 11.

PTA also urged the users *“to refrain from circulating it since it mightgenerate confusion and inconvenience for consumers”.*
