*KARACHI – Funeral prayer of Pakistan Peoples Party’s Member of SindhAssembly Shahnaz Ansari was offered and laid to rest in Naushahro Feroze onSunday.*
A large number of PPP leaders, party workers and others attended thefuneral prayers. She was laid to rest at Ismail Shah graveyard in NaushahroFeroze.
Shahnaz Ansari was shot dead over a land dispute in Naushahro Feroze onSaturday.
She had visited the city to attend the ‘Chehlum’ of her brother-in-law DrZahid Khokhar when the accused opened fire on her. She was criticallyinjured and shifted to hospital where she died.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has condemned the attack. “I am in a shock tohear the news about her murdered. She was the best political worker and anasset of the party,” he said.
He said that they share the grief with the bereaved family. Meanwhile,Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has ordered immediate arrest ofthe attackers.
