*KARACHI – **Sindh High Court announces verdict in case of deadly attackagainst Corps Commander Karachi.*
*Sindh High Court (SHC) has upheld the death sentences of nine convicts inCorp Commander Karachi attack case.*
Announcing the verdict on Friday, the SHC acquitted two accused in thecase. The accused had submitted appeal against the verdict of deathsentences given by Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi in 2006.
The accused belonging to a banned outfit were involved in attack on theconvoy of then Corp Commander Karachi Ahsan Saleem Hayat in June 2004 inwhich six officers were martyred.
