ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan Al Saudtelephoned Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi Saturday anddiscussed the issue of Kashmir as well as the regional developments.
The two foreign ministers reaffirmed the strategic importance of thePakistan-Saudi Arabia relationship and reiterated the shared resolve todeepen bilateral cooperation in diverse fields, a Foreign Office pressrelease said.
Foreign Minister Qureshi appreciated Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support forthe Kashmir cause, including as a key member of the OIC Contact Group onJammu and Kashmir.
Both the sides also exchanged views on working together to advance theKashmir cause, including from the OIC platform, besides discussing theregional developments and agreeing to remain in close contact.
