ISLAMABAD: PTI government unveils Strategic Trade Policy Framework 2020 -2025.
The Senate was informed on Friday that a strategic trade policy framework2020-25 has been prepared to bolster exports through productdiversification especially in the areas of Information Technology andEngineering.
Adviser for Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood told the house during question hourthat the framework proposes interventions for women and small scaleentrepreneurs by facilitating their businesses for inclusive economicgrowth.

The advisor said we are moving towards fixing the energy prices includingthose of gas and power for the export-oriented sector in order to supportthis sector.
He said the exports are increasing with textiles witnessing quantity-wisegrowth of 25 percent, poultry and meat 50 percent and fisheries 28 percent.
