PHILADELPHIA – Pakistani Ambassador responds over US travel advisory changefor the country.
Pakistani envoy in US Asad Majeed Khan says the update in US TravelAdvisory admitted improved security situation in Pakistan on Sunday.
Addressing a ceremony, the Pakistani ambassador said the UK, Canada andother countries reviewed their travel advisory for Pakistan as thegovernment is providing opportune environment for promotion of tourism andinvestment.
Asad Majeed also expressed his commitment that they will celebrate KashmirSolidarity on February 5 in America. He also mentioned that the economicand security situation of the country has been stabilized.
Commenting on the plight of people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK), AsadMajeed said New Delhi has deprived the Kashmiris of basic amenities andurged the international community to play its role to stop brutalities inthe region.
He lauded the APPNA’s role in fostering bilateral ties between Washingtonand Islamabad.
