ISLAMABAD – The Senate was informed today that the federal government isready to provide every possible assistance for the development of coastalareas of the country.
Responding to a motion moved by Mir Kabeer Ahmed, Minister forParliamentary Affairs Azam Khan Swati said that a master plan for thedevelopment of coastal areas is in pipeline.
He said that government is in contact with the provincial governments inthis regard and Balochistan government has informed that legislation is inprocess.
