ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Foreign Office summons Indian diplomat, lodges strongprotest over ceasefire violation.
A senior diplomat from the High Commission of India was summoned to theForeign Office, today, to register Pakistan’s strong protest at theceasefire violations by Indian occupation forces along the Line of Control,resulting in serious injuries to an innocent civilian woman.
Pakistan called upon the Indian side to respect the 2003 CeasefireUnderstanding; investigate this and other incidents of deliberate ceasefireviolations and maintain peace along the LoC and the WB.

It was also urged that India should permit the United Nations MilitaryObserver Group in India and Pakistan to play its mandated role as per theUnited Nations Security Council Resolutions.
