ISLAMABAD: Pakistan seek crucial support of three leading Islamic countries
Pakistan foreign minister expressed the hope that Saudi Arabia, Turkey andMalaysia would help Pakistan in promoting tourism.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Islamabad was already in talks with thethree countries about tourism investment.
“Prime Minister Imran has requested Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman tohelp Pakistan by investing in its tourism,” he said.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi welcomed the UK’s change in itstravel advisory for Pakistan, saying that Islamabad was already in toMalaysia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey to help promote its tourism.
In a statement following a “wide-ranging assessment” of Pakistan’s securitysituation, the FCO said British nationals could now “travel by road to theNorth of Pakistan as well as the Kalesh and Bamboret Valleys”.

In this regard, the British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Dr ChristianTurner, said: “It is great credit to the hard work of the Government ofPakistan in delivering improved security over the past five years.
Qureshi said Prime Minister Imran Khan had requested Crown Prince Mohammedbin Salman to invest in Pakistan’s tourism and promote it.
FM Qureshi said credit for the change in the UK’s travel advisory goes tothe entire nation and its armed forces.
“Change in Britain’s travel advisory is a major progress,” he said. “I havespoken to the British foreign minister and we have also held talks withPresident Trump about it.”
