KABUL – Over 40 Afghan Taliban militants and commanders surrender and joinpeace process.

In Afghanistan, 40 Taliban militants have surrendered to Afghan NationalArmy in Ghor province amid military pressure in the mountainous region.

Afghan Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the latest surrenderingcame as a joint cleanup and search operation conducted.
