RAWALPINDI –Italian Ambassador held meeting with COAS General Qamar JavedBajwa at GHQ.
Italian Ambassador to Pakistan Stefano Pontecorvo paid a farewell call toChief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ on Tuesday.
According to a press release issued by the ISPR, COAS thanked the Italianambassador for his services in Pakistan and acknowledged his contributionstowards strengthening Pakistan – Italy relations.
The COAS also congratulated the ambassador on his appointment as CivilSenior Representative of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) inAfghanistan.
