Mumbai: Hindu extremists target bollywood Muslim Actor Saif Ali Khan’s sonTaimur.Indian actor Saif Ali Khan’s toddler son Taimur was the focus of arecent twitter trend in India after his father faced criticism fordefending his son’s name in a celebrity talk show.
While responding to a question surrounding debate over his son Taimur’sname, Saif said that it was a beautiful name.
He added that he was aware that Taimur was a name of a ‘Turkish ruler’ whowas a ‘little violent’ but a conquering general had to be ‘little violent’.
“I have known a couple of people called Taimur and there was no dramainvolved in their names. It is just a nice name, it means iron and it’s astrong beautiful sounding name. I am aware there is a Turkish ruler who waspossibly a little violent but if you have to be a conquering general youhave to be a little violent,” he said.
