ISLAMABAD – Jordanian Parliament gives a $10 billion blow to Israel.
Jordan’s parliament has approved a draft law to ban imports of Israeli gasto the country.
The motion was passed unanimously by Jordan’s 130 lawmakers and will bereferred to the cabinet to be made law.
The 10 billion dollars supply deal was originally struck in 2016 betweenJordan’s state-owned utility and a U.S. Israeli consortium to provide gasto the country’s power plants for electricity generation.
