NEW DELHI – Indian Home Ministry makes ridiculous claims over population ofOccupied Kashmir.

The official website of Indian Ministry of Home Affairs has made aridiculous claim concerning population of occupied Jammu and Kashmir,underreporting the population of Kashmir valley by more than 10 times.

The website states that Kashmir Valley houses a total of 5,35,811residents, while the Jammu region houses 69,07,623 residents, followed byLadakh with 2,90,492 residents.

This error comes at a time when Kashmir has already become an internationalissue of debate and discussion and the world is watching every developmentin the Valley very closely.
