ISLAMABAD – Pakistani PM Imran Khan reacts over the recent UNSC meeting onOccupied Kashmir.
Prime Minister Imran Khan welcomed the recently held meeting on Indianoccupied Kashmir (IoK) by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
In a tweet from his Twitter handle on Thursday, the premier said that IoK,which is an internationally recognized dispute, remains on the council’sagenda and its consideration by the UNSC ‘reflects a recognition of theseriousness of the prevailing situation’.
In another tweet, the prime minister said that the Kashmir issue must beresolved in accordance with relevant UNSC resolutions and the will of theKashmiri people.
“We will continue to provide moral, political and diplomatic support to theKashmiri people until they secure their inalienable right toself-determination,” the premier vowed.
