LAHORE – Chairman PCB takes important decision over the Bangladesh CricketBoard statement.
The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ehsan Mani will meetBangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan in Dubai this weekon the sidelines of the International Cricket Council (ICC) GovernanceReview Committee meeting.
PCB will provide further updates on Bangladesh men’s national cricketteam’s upcoming tour of Pakistan.
The Dubai meeting is a continuation of the discussion process, which thePCB has followed to reach a consensus with the BCB on its national men’scricket team’s tour itinerary.
Earlier, the BCB had decided against sending their team for a two-matchTest series to Pakistan as per PCB’s request. The BCB is still adamant ontouring Pakistan only for the Twenty20 Int’l (T20I) series.
While speaking to journalists after a board meeting in Dhaka, the BCBPresident Nazmul Hasan said that the Bangladesh government has instructedthem to not allow the team to stay in Pakistan for a long period due to therecent escalation of tensions in the Middle East.
