ISLAMABAD – Former Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal lands in yet anothertrouble .Accountability court on Monday extended the physical remand offormer federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) seniorleader Ahsan Iqbal for another 7-days in Narowal Sports City case, GNNreported.
Ahsan Iqbal appealed the court to investigate Prime Minister Imran Khan inthe case.
PML-N leader was produced before the court after completion of his physicalremand.
During the hearing, the court has directed National Accountability Bureau(NAB) investigators to complete the inquiry as early as possible as theywill not get remand of the PML-N leader in future.
On December 23, PML-N’s Ahsan Iqbal was arrested by NAB in Narowal SportsCity Complex case.
According to details, NAB arrested the PML-N leader from Narowal SportsComplex.
NAB had begun the investigation of case against PML-N leader in July.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi had also seized theNarowal Sports City project’s record as investigation against Ahsan Iqbalhad sped up last month.
