NEW DELHI – India, tourism industry has been hit by a wave of violentanti-government protests against a new discriminatory citizenship law.
According to media reports, there has been a sixty percent decline invisitor footfalls in the current month as compared to December last year.
A police inspector overseeing a special tourist police station near TajMahal said about two hundred thousand domestic and international touristscanceled or postponed their trip to Taj Mahal in the past two weeks.
