*The government has hinted at ending relaxation in the lockdown after theEid holidays.*
Addressing a press conference on Monday, Special Assistant to PrimeMinister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza said that the impression of eliminationof coronavirus in Pakistan is wrong. “Coronavirus cases and deaths are onthe increase.
Thirty-four patients have died during the last 24 hours and 112 are onventilators,” he said.
Dr Zafar Mirza said that deaths and cases would increase if precautionarymeasures were not adopted. “The situation can improve by following theSOPs. Coronavirus can spread fast by hugging,” he added.
