KARACHI – A team of Airbus aircraft manufacturing company is arriving inKarachi today to assist in the investigation of the PIA plane crash.
The team will visit the site at Model Colony area of the city as shiftingof plane debris from the site has also been stopped.
The management of the Airbus has also expressed profound grief over the PIAplane crash.
It is to be noted that 97 people were killed while two passengers survivedwhen a PIA flight coming from Lahore to Karachi crashed in the Model Colonyin Malir area near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.
The bodies of 34 people out of the 97 killed in the incident have beenidentified and handed over to heirs, whereas the process of the bodies’identification through DNA test is underway.
A seven-member investigation team of PIA also visited the plane crash siteand started investigation into the incident.
The team equipped with modern equipment also inspected the damaged building.
Meanwhile, the spokesman Sindh Government Murtaza Wahab says one of the twosurvivors of the unfortunate PIA PK-8303 flight crash, Muhammad Zubair hasbeen discharged from the hospital.
