Lahore: Pakistan star cricketer Shahid Afridi, who played for the PSL’still now leading team Multan Sultans, ignited a debate on social mediaabout the trophy of the tournament.
Hours after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) postponed the crickettournament due to coronavirus outbreak; Afridi took to Twitter andexpressed sadness over the cancellation of the event but added that “healthand safety of all concerned is the key”.

He added, “Perhaps the decision could have been taken earlier, with regardsto the trophy…well the table-topper should be handed the trophy?”
As his comments landed on Twitter, it received mixed response from thesocial media users with some hilarious ones.
Some users said Multan Sultans deserve all the trophies.
