Pakistan Foreign Ministry takes special steps against Coronavirus spread

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Foreign Ministry takes steps against Coronavirusspread.

Setting up a special task force, the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan hasinitiated measures to protect its employees from coronavirus.

Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Aisha Farooqui has said that ministry hasset up special task force for precautionary and awareness measures toprevent spread of the coronavirus.

Aisha Farooqui informed that special task force will be in contact withforeign missions in Pakistan and Pakistani missions abroad. She alsomaintained that the task force comprises of DG Headquarters and few BS-17officers will also be added in the force. The task force cellinfrastructure has been established.

According to the spokesperson, the electronic file system was also enabledwhich will be used for online file transfer. She added that informationalmeeting are being arranged to educate employees about the virus.

She further said that the ministry has placed hand sanitizers at variouspoints and has displayed informational boards at all entry points of theoffice.
