Indian government released 8 Pakistani prisoners from the jails

LAHORE – India has released eight detained Pakistanis on Saturday, GNNreported.

India’s Border Security Forces (BSF) handed over the eight people toPakistani authorities at Wagah-Attari border.

The freed persons include Abdul Rasheed, Sohail, Syed Javed, Iqbal, GhulamAkbar, Irfanullah and Javed Aslam.

Pakistan High Commission in India played a crucial role for therepatriation of the Pakistani prisoners.

Last year in April, Pakistan had released 360 India fishermen as a goodwill gesture. They were freed in different batches.

All the fishermen were arrested for violating Pakistani waters.
