ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says a peace agreementbetween the United States and Afghan Taliban will hopefully be signed inDoha tomorrow.
In a statement issued in Doha today, he said representatives from fiftycountries, including foreign ministers of different countries, will beattending the signing ceremony.
The Minister said Pakistan has been invited to become part of this entireprocess and participate in it. He said this is an honor for Pakistan andacknowledgement of its efforts.
He said India made its utmost efforts to create hurdles in the Afghan peaceagreement. Despite all that, if it is inked, it will be a big success.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said today, Pakistan has a central role at world leveland the world is lauding its role for establishment of peace in Afghanistan.
