Over 15 people injured in violent clashes in Indian capital New Delhi

NEW DELHI – Over 15 people injured in violent clashes in Indian capital NewDelhi.

In India, 15 people, including six policemen, were injured in clashesbetween anti and pro-Citizenship Amendment Act groups in Jafrabad andMaujpur areas of New Delhi.

The protestors came face to face leading to heavy stone-pelting andvandalizing of vehicles and shops in the area.

Police used tear gas shells to disperse the warring groups but struggled tocontain the situation.
