Lahore: A case has been registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) of Punjab Nazir Chohan over the complaintof Adviser to Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar.
According to details, the case against Nazir Chohan, who is a member ofJahangir Tareen group, has been lodged at Race Course Police Station inLahore.
In the complaint, the Adviser maintained that the accused leveled baselessallegations against him in a television program.
Taking to twitter, Shahzad Akbar also confirmed that a case against hasbeen registered against Nazir Chohan over his complaint. He said someignorant friends are still spreading misinformation on social media.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry also tweeted and wrote that usingreligion card for personal vendetta is despicable.
“Lahore Police must take strict action against Nazeer Chohan MPA for usingthird rated tactics against @ShazadAkbar Shahzad is doing his job Statecannot function if it fails to safeguard his officials against suchattacks.”
