Israeli authorities have approved plans for the construction of hundreds ofnew settler units in the occupied West Bank, irrespective of theinternational outcry against the Tel Aviv regime’s illegal settlementexpansion activities and land grab policies in Palestinian territories.
Head of the Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bethlehem HassanBureijia told Palestine’s official WAFA news agencylink on Thursday that officialshave given the green light for plans to build 560 units in Mtsadsettlement, which lies southeast of Bethlehem and more than 10 kilometers(6.2 miles) south of Jerusalem al-Quds.
He added that the announcement came only a few days after Israeliauthorities endorsed plans for the construction of 90 new illegal units inIbi Hanahal settlement.link
