Unknown persons riding a motorbike threw two hand grenades at the house ofKhyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Transport Malik Shah Muhammad KhanWazir linkin Bannu onThursday.

However, the provincial minister was not present at home at the time of theattack.

Guard Naseeb Nawaz, who was injured in the attack, was shifted to DistrictHeadquarters Hospital Bannu link.

Police said a hunt for unidentified assailants had been launched after theregistration of the case.
