ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched Ehsaas Bachat BankAccount during a ceremony on Monday.

Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the programmewould benefit the women from the backward areas and it would improve theirlife and economic condition.

He said that Ehsaas Programme is being considered the fourth successfulprogramme. “No one has objected to the transparency of the programme,” headded.

The prime minister said that financial inclusion of women will help intheir mainstreaming and reduce the poverty. “In the wake of Covid-19, cashassistance was delivered to the deserving families in the most transparentand apolitical manner. If timely assistance was not delivered, thesituation arising out of the pandemic would have added to the woes of thepoor lot,” he maintained.

He said that no nation can become great until and unless it takes care ofthe poor people.
