Karachi: The US dollar gained on the first day of the business week andafter Eid holidays and Lockdown ended— in the Interbank Foreign Exchangemarket.
The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Pakistani Rupee at the endof trading session closed below Rs153 level in the interbank market and wasrecorded at Rs152.60.
State Bank of Pakistan data shows that the dollar against Pakistani Rupeecherished by 32 paisas or 0.21% in the interbank market.
Note that this is the first time since March 6, 2020, that the dollar hasfallen below the level of Rs155.
