China has accused the United States of “ignoring the suffering” of Muslims,after Washington blocked a scheduled UN Security Council meeting aimed ataddressing an intensifying conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
Talking to reporters in Beijing, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman,Hua Chunying said the US single handedly obstructed the Security Councilfrom speaking out on the crisis, while “standing on the opposite side ofthe international community”.
She said the United States should realise that the lives of PalestinianMuslims are equally precious.
