Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reiterated its country’s supportto the Palestinian cause and sanctity of Jerusalem.

He expressed the support during his telephonic conversation with leaders ofnearly 20 nations in which he asked them to take a united stance againstIsraeli raids and attacks on Palestinians.

Describing these attacks as terrorism, the Turkish President urged theUnited Nations Security Council to intervene before the crisis escalatesfurther and make efforts to send an international peacekeeping force in theregion.
