ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan Saturday expressed gratitude overforeign exchange inflows via the Roshan Digital Accounts which reached the$1 billion mark.
Taking it to Twitter, the premier wrote ‘Alhamdulillah, funds receivedthrough Roshan Digital Account have crossed $1billion. I would like tothank our overseas Pakistanis for their overwhelming response.
Khan also hailed the State Bank of Pakistan and banks for their crucialrole in achieving this significant milestone in a limited time period.
Roshan Digital Account is a joint initiative of the incumbent governmentand the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in collaboration with commercial banksoperating in the country. It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister in Septlast year.
