Pakistan Iran take yet another bilateral economic initiative

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that establishment of tradecenters at Pak-Iran border would not only boost trade betWeen the twocountries, but also bring economic change in the lives of the residents ofborder areas.

He expressed these views during a visit to Pakistan House and meetingPakistani diplomats of in Tehran.

The Foreign Minister said Pakistan and Iran enjoy deep rooted fraternalties based on common religious and cultural values and civilization.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said his visit to Iran is aimed at strengtheningeconomic and trade relations between Pakistan and Iran.

Expressing his pleasure, he said that Iran has not only appreciated theproposal for establishment of trade centers at Pak-Iran border, but alsoagreed to implement it and soon this proposal would be implemented.

Meanwhile, in a tweet, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Iran has also liftedrestrictions on import of Kinnow from Pakistan which has been in placesince 2012.

He said the step is a manifestation of further solidifying of bilateralties between the two countries.

The Foreign Minister said the step will be good news for the Pakistanitraders and the people linked with its cultivation in the country.

He stressed upon Pakistan missions to expedite their efforts for theeconomic diplomacy to enhance economic prosperity of the motherland.
