Performance evaluation of more than 1300 civil servants has begun by anindependent board.

This was mentioned in a chart shared by Information Minister Chaudhry FawadHussain in a tweet on Monday.

The chart further stated that officers who have served for twenty yearswill be objectively assessed and officers falling short of the criteriawill be retired from public service.

This will help to inculcate a culture of performance and accountability.
