US Special Envoy on Afghanistan Reconciliation, Zalmay Khalilzad held ameeting with head of the High Council for National Reconciliation AbdullahAbdullah, and the leadership committee of the Council in Kabul to discussthe peace process.

Khalilzad also met with the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.

According to a statement issued by the Presidential Palace, they discussedthe peace process and the upcoming Turkey conference on Afghanistan.
