*Prime Minister Imran Khan briefed the federal cabinet about the Karachitransformation plan.*
Addressing the cabinet on Tuesday, the prime minister said that he wasgoing to Karachi in a couple of days. “We will resolve all problems,including transport and sewerage,” he added.
He said that the federal government’s top priority will be clearing ofdrains, sewerage, solid waste management and provision of clean drinkingwater.
The prime minister lauded the authorities for timely taking steps forprotection against flood in Nullah Lai. “The chief minister had himselfreviewed the arrangements in this regard,” he added.
Meanwhile, the federal cabinet determined the time to outsource bigairports.Approval in this regard will be granted in the next meeting of the cabinet.

It also approved the nomination of Pakistan Petroleum Limited’s Board ofDirectors.
The meeting also approved the construction of multi-storey buildings in bigcities.
The cabinet appreciated Prime Minister Imran Khan for not increasing thepetroleum prices. “A big consignment of wheat has reached Pakistan and willbe distributed across the country,” said the prime minister.
During the meeting, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Amin Aslambriefed the cabinet about unusual rains in Karachi. He said that more rainsare expected in Karachi.
