Mali President announces resignation after reported arrest in suspected coup August 19, 2020

ISLAMABAD- Mali’s President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita has resigned after he and the Prime Minister were reportedly arrested by mutinous soldiers in a suspected coup.

In a televised address, he also announced to dissolve the government and parliament.
