Islamabad: Pakistan highlighted the Worst situation of Human Rights inIndian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and recalled forimplementation on UN Charter, UN Security Council Resolutions AndInternational Law to end oppression of the people of IIOJK.

Pakistan reaffirmed its resolve to respect and uphold Human dignity and topromote human rights agenda without any distinction or discrimination.

Nationally Pakistan Instituted a wide range of peoplecentric policy measures which were anchored by the government to reshapethe state of Madinah established by our holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace BeUpon Him). Bolstered by our Constitution, Progressive legislation,administrative reforms and institutions building, Pakistan Action areparticularly aimed at the disadvantaged by seeking to reduce inequalitiesand expand access to education, health care and employment opportunities.

On the eve of Human Rights Day, we must particularly keep in our thoughtsand prayers the oppressed people in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu andKashmir (IIOJK). Who are not only denied their inalienable right of selfdetermination for over seven decades but also facing gruesome repression onthe hands of Indian Occupation Forces. UN Office of the High Commissionerfor the Human Rights (UNHCR) has comprehensively documented gross andsystematic violations of Human Rights by India in IIOJK twice in recentyears.

Pakistan reiterates it’s Call on International Community to hold Indiaaccountable for serious crimes against the Kashmiri people in IIOJK. Indiamust be called upon to accept a UN Commission of inquiry for an independentand impartial investigation of the situation in IIOJK and fully respect thehuman rights and fundamental freedoms of the Kashmiri people.
