Muscat: Oman has exempted nationals of 103 counties from entry visa forstaying up to ten days in the country.

The steps are being taken by the Gulf state in an effort to restore tourismand revamp struggling economy.

According to Royal Oman Police, visitors are required to have a confirmedhotel reservation, health insurance and a return ticket.

Last week, the Muslim country announced to start granting tourist visas topeople after they were suspended due to COVID-19.

Oman resumed international flight operation on October 1, allowing onlycitizens people with valid residency and work visas to enter.
